Ikato Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is a company that specializes in conveyor chains. We manufacturer, supply and distribute conveyor chains to various industries, mostly to processing lines and assembly lines. We also produce engineering spare parts for customers.

Formerly known as Starlex Engineering and Trading, the company was later rebranded as Ikato Engineering in 2009. Even though the company has undergone some changes, it still retains the 30 years of invaluable experience in the industry. It is a family owned business.

Ikato Engineering provides various types of chains such as conveyor chains, roller chains, palm oil mill chains, paver chains. These chains are mostly used in manufacturing lines may it be automotive or processing, conveying systems in brick factories, food and beverages factories and milling plants.

With our vast experience, we are able to provide our customer with invaluable advice and consultation with accurate and reliable information. This makes our service impeccable. We are able to produce any chain according to the customers’ specification and customize it accordingly.

What sets us apart from our competitors that our customers are guaranteed with the highest of quality from our products and the variety of conveyor chain that we have and the ability to customize it. We have an optimum stock level and the customers can come over to the warehouse and we will give them a tour to increase trust and confident with the vast physical stock we have.

We also provide product chain consultation. This consultation will help the customers on how to prolong the life span of the chains and also educate the customer on how to do maintenance on the products. We can also help customers to identify the type of chain that they have or want. This proves that our vast experience in this industry is useful and beneficial to both parties.

Most of our products have up to 6 months warranty and we do delivery nationwide. Our products are best suitable to be used in palm oil mills, manufacturing lines, brick factories, food and beverage manufacturers, sugar mill, flour mill, rubber mill, paper processing mill, quarry supplier, recycling centers, and other various plants which requires conveyors and conveying chains.

Purpose/Use: attached to the conveyor chain (2nd, 4th, or 6th link) and to support or carry the scrapper bar, bucket elevator and etc in the palm oil mills. 

IKATO ENGINEERING SDN BHD (formally known as Starlex Engineering & Trading) was incorporated in 2009 as an established wholesaler dealing with machinery and engineering spare parts. Through integrity, hard work and forte in the business circle, it gradually diversified into other enterprising industries such as selling imported parts to other industries.

Essentially, we supply to our clientele mainly the palm oil mills and other industries such as rubber mill, quarry, and plywood factory. The company has registered with several major palm oil mills nationwide; in providing replacement for maintenance and engineering parts particularly, conveyor chains.
